IPhone 12 Dummies Leaked, Showing New Sizes and Design

It's time to start getting excited for Apple's upcoming iPhone 12 launch. Images of dummies of the phone's models have been leaked and shared on the typically reliable MacRumors site.

Different size options and the different designs of the iPhone 12 look to be in store for everyone around Autumn time. Dummies are usually pretty on-point, so there's a high chance the actual phones will resemble these images.

Why have dummy models?

Dummies are usually designed to let case makers prepare themselves ahead of a new phone launch. When these are also passed on to the public, you can be pretty certain that the upcoming phone will most likely resemble these dummies.

Here is what is known so far, or at least rumored to be true as per MacRumors: Apple is going to release four iPhones in Autumn this year. There will be a 5.4-inch iPhone 12, a 6.1 -inch iPhone 12, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The latter two will be the company's higher end, pricier options, while the first two will cost closer to the iPhone 11's price.

All of these four models have a new design, which is more similar to the previous iPhone 4 or the iPad Pro, both of which have a square edged frame as well as glass on the front and on the back — aspects that are included in the iPhone 12 dummies.

Even though the 5.4-inch model will be small, it will in fact have a larger display as the upcoming model is getting rid of the Touch ID home button and the bezels. All four of the 2020 iPhones will have full-screen OLED displays including Face ID and minimal bezels.

The two smaller phones will have dual-lens cameras, and the higher end ones will have triple-lens ones.

Moreover, there's a new cutout area beneath the power button that appears on some of the dummy models, potentially to be used for 5G antennas, as all of the phones will support 5G speeds.

Now, time will tell what Apple will launch later this year.
